Document intelligence

Extract structured data from invoices, contracts, and scanned forms. Our models handle handwriting, tables, and multi-language PDFs. Typical accuracy sits above 96% after a two-week training cycle on your documents.

NLP

Defect detection for manufacturing

Camera-fed convolutional networks spot surface scratches, weld gaps, and colour inconsistencies on production lines running up to 120 items per minute. We calibrate on-site with your existing camera hardware wherever possible.

Vision

Demand forecasting

Time-series models trained on your sales, weather, and event data. We deliver weekly or daily forecasts with confidence intervals so procurement teams can act on ranges, not guesses. Most clients see a 15–22% reduction in overstock within three months.

Predictive

Conversational assistants

Custom chatbots and voice agents grounded in your knowledge base. We fine-tune large language models so they answer from your documentation, not the open internet. Guardrails prevent hallucinated responses about pricing or policy.

NLP

Workflow automation

Connect approval chains, email triage, and CRM updates through intelligent routing. Rules handle the predictable paths; a lightweight classifier picks up the edge cases and routes them to the right person.

Automation

Customer churn modelling

Gradient-boosted models score every account monthly. The output is a ranked list with the top contributing factors per customer, so retention teams know whom to call and what to talk about.

Data

Video analytics

People counting, dwell-time heatmaps, and vehicle tracking from existing CCTV feeds. We deploy edge inference boxes so footage never leaves your premises. Dashboards update every five seconds.

Vision

Data pipeline design

We architect extraction, transformation, and loading stages that keep your warehouse fresh without manual intervention. Schemas are version-controlled and tested before every deploy. Monitoring alerts fire before downstream reports break.

"We tried three off-the-shelf OCR tools before calling Ai Visionary Labs. Their custom model handled our courier dockets, which have barcodes, stamps, and handwritten notes on the same page."— R. Okonkwo, head of logistics tech, parcel network

Is AI the right move for you?

Not every problem needs a model. Some are better solved with a spreadsheet formula or a well-written SQL query. Use the questions below to gauge readiness before you invest.

Do you have at least 500 labelled examples of the thing you want to detect or classify?
If yes, supervised learning is usually viable. If not, we can sometimes bootstrap labels through weak supervision or active learning, but expect a longer ramp-up phase of four to six weeks.
Is the decision currently made by a person following a rough mental checklist?
That pattern maps well onto a decision-tree or gradient-boosted model. The checklist becomes features; the outcome becomes the label. We interview the person, extract the logic, then validate it against historical decisions.
Does the task repeat more than 50 times a day?
High volume is where automation pays off fastest. Below 50 daily repetitions, the return on investment depends on how costly each error is. Medical triage at 30 cases a day can still justify a model because mistakes carry serious consequences.
Can you tolerate occasional wrong answers?
Every model has an error rate. If zero tolerance is required, we build a human-in-the-loop layer where uncertain predictions go to a reviewer. This hybrid approach often outperforms either humans or models working alone.

"The discovery sprint saved us from building the wrong thing. Two weeks of analysis revealed that our real bottleneck was data quality, not model complexity."— K. Anand, CTO, mid-market retailer

Engagement pathway

Brief call (30 min, free)

We listen to the problem, ask about data availability, and agree whether AI is the right tool. No slides, no sales pitch.

Data handshake

You share a sample dataset under NDA. We profile it for volume, quality, and label coverage, then return a one-page feasibility note within five working days.

Scoping document

A fixed-price proposal listing deliverables, timelines, infrastructure requirements, and acceptance criteria. No ambiguous "phase two to be determined" language.

Build

Fortnightly demos so you see progress, not just hear about it. Every demo includes a live accuracy metric and a list of open risks.

Handover or retain

We transfer code, documentation, and model weights to your repository. If you prefer us to keep running the system, we switch to the retainer track.

Proof from the field

"Churn predictions were accurate enough that our retention team closed 23 saves in the first month. The model paid for itself before the invoice arrived."— T. Gallagher, customer success director, SaaS platform
"Video analytics gave us footfall data we'd been estimating by hand for years. Now we staff each zone based on actual numbers, not gut feel."— P. Mendes, operations manager, retail park
"Their chatbot handles about 60% of our inbound queries without escalation. The ones it does escalate arrive with a summary, so agents start informed."— L. Brennan, support lead, insurance broker

Working principles

Explain before you deploy

Every model ships with a plain-English explanation of what it does, what it cannot do, and where its blind spots lie. Stakeholders who never open a Jupyter notebook should still understand the system they are trusting.

Own your models

Weights, training data references, and inference code belong to you from day one. We do not hold intellectual property hostage to retain contracts.

Measure what matters

Accuracy alone is misleading. We track precision, recall, latency, and cost per inference so you can weigh trade-offs with real numbers.

Fail cheaply

The discovery sprint exists so that a bad idea costs £3,200 and two weeks, not £80,000 and six months. We would rather tell you "don't build this" than sell you something that will gather dust.
